The Discovery Museum

The Discovery Museum is working hard to be a learning environment for all ages and all abilities!

Accommodations

  • Our facility has an elevator that will reach all three levels of the museum

  • We have a wheelchair available if needed

  • There are accessible stalls in the downstairs bathrooms

  • We offer free one-on-ones as needed for booked groups

  • Coming soon: sensory maps, flip book tour, and a video tour on our website

Events

During Barnum Festival on March 23, we host a Special Needs Day. People with special needs and their caregivers receive free admission to the Discovery Museum. Some of our shows will be very loud, while others will have no sound

Programs

We work with groups booking programs to find the program that best fits their needs and abilities.
